Second stage, final project

It is time to publish the second stage of the final project of the JAI House. The goal was to create a conceptual model in Revit and play with lightning an camera angles.

Storyboard

  • First of all I created levels after I estimated the approximate dimensions of the house. Levels for ground floor, ceiling, roof and the upper story.
  • To get the shape of the house I used the wall-tool to get the original shape. I adjusted the hight of the walls according to the different levels.
  • When the walls were finished, I added the floor slab of the first story.
  • I added the roof for the first floor and decided not to use the roof from the first story as the floor of the mastersuite located on the second story.
  • I made a inividual floor for that room.
  • I had a some problems to adjust it accordning to the roof of the first story but i decided to place the floor slab in the same level as the walls starts.
  • I created a floor slab for the ground story, and made the silhouette of the pool as a part of the floor slab.
  • Then I added the camera views under View/3D View. I tried different angles before i made the renderings.
  • During the rendering process I adjusted the exposure several times and made two final renderings of each view. I also changed the skylight.
